Hanjo Corporation was invited to participate
in the third “Philippine Youth Congress in Information Technology”
(Y4IT). It is an annual event that aims to provide Students and
IT Enthusiasts in the country on the current ICT Trends and Technology.
Y4IT was held from September 15 to 17, highlighting current events
in the IT industry in the field of e-learning, video game development,
the contact center business, open source programming, network security,
robotics, wireless communications technologies and bio-informatics,
among others.
The said event has drawn its biggest crowd to date and has almost
doubled the number of attendees since they started in 2003. Nearly
9,000 students from high schools and colleges nationwide came. Delegates
came from as far north as Batanes province and as far south as Tawi-Tawi
province. The UP Theater where they held the three-day event was
unable to accommodate the throngs of students that continued to
arrive.

The booth allotted to
us was a 3m x 3m booth with tarpaulins displayed on the exhibitor’s
area and inside the theatre where it was exposed to numerous delegates.
A4tech and the company logos were seen on the events promotional
materials, giveaway sample, brochures and souvenir programs. Leaflets
and flyers of A4tech products were also inserted on the congress
kit of more than 9000 delegates. A4tech and Hanjo Corporation were
recognized as one of the sponsor at the end of each day. We also
had product selling on the booth area.
Participating in this event enables us to promote and counsel product
uses of latest products of A4tech including the most recent R7 power
saver Wireless Keyboards and Mouse series. Bringing those actual
products helped us to speak directly to our target market and asked
for their feedback.
Subconsciously, we want their actual experience on the product to
stay in their mind because this will lead a way on pass on knowledge
to their other friends and colleagues and this will eventually increase
the chance of sales.

Hanjo Corporation’s
booth also attracted the press like NET 25, branded as the country's
first and only e-channel, the only television station that is devoted
to providing information and entertainment on computing, internet,
and information technology. Its station-produced program Convergence
is the consistent No. 1 IT show in the Philippines.
NET 25 got interested
on KIPS 800 IP Talky Keyboard, KLS 7MU, KAS 15 and R7 wireless Keyboard
and Mouse. They would feature the mentioned items on their Tech
news segment and this would result favorable media coverage.
Media partners were HWM
Magazines, PC Buyers Guide, Business World, Manila Bulletin ( PRINT
) , RX 93.1 103.5 K-Lite ( RADIO). Sponsors were recognized on these
mediums and obtain publicity on newspapers.
